Substitutes:

Note: You have selected a substitute pet.
The strategy might fail if you use it with this pet instead of the one the strategy creator intended.

The substitute finder looks for these criteria in relation to the original pet:
  • Same family
  • Has the required skills
  • Has the required stats (if specified)
  • Ignores specific breed requirements for the main pet, as breeds can be very different for substitutes

Slow but safe. Like, really slow.

2nd and 3rd pets can probably be any random elemental pet, my Broot died only during the last enemy.

Using both Broot + Blossoming Ancient 2/2/2 is the safest possible way to do this, but should not be required.

Script thanks to Schlumpf

Low XP
At least one of the pets for this strategy require the use of a specific breed.
Not every strategy can be bullet proof. This is one of them. You might have to restart it, since there are some random elements that increase the risk of your pets failing. Don't blame them, please!
This strategy is using pets obtainable from the Wow Trading Card Game (TCG) or the auction house for potentially high sums of gold.
This strategy is using pets obtainable only from the WoW In-Game Shop for Battle.net Balance or real money.
You can use this strategy to carry a low level pet to give it experience.
Some instructions are more difficult to follow than others. That's exactly what you might find in this strategy!
Script
The strategy offers a Script that can be used with the Pet Battle Script addon. You can copy the script by clicking on the button to the left of the pets.
At least one pet in the strategy cannot be obtained anymore. If you have it, congrats!
A Strategy Curator found this strategy to be especially helpful and higlighted it with this tag to give it more exposure.

Very reliable. Broot died right as Burly Jr's undead round ended.

I used Fel Flame 1,2,1, Searing Scorchling 1,2,1, and lil' Ragnaros 1,2,1. The fight went pretty quick. Used Scorched Earth, Conflagrate on cooldown. Then used Burn or Sulfuras Smash.

Singing Sunflower 2/1/2 + Aldrusian Sproutling 1/x/1 + Any Elemental Pet

Singing Sunflower
vs 1st enemy pet
-> Sunlight -> Photosynthesis -> Solar Beam -> Photosynthesis -> Solar Beam -> Sunlight
(tldr press 321213)

(if your pet died vs 1st enemy pet because of terrible RNG- restart)

-> Now keep Photosynthesis up > cast Sunlight on CD > Solar beam

vs 2nd enemy pet
-> Make sure to refresh Sunlight before your Singing Sunflower dies!
-> Otherwise keep Photosynthesis up > Solar beam

Aldrusian Sproutling
-> Keep Photosynthesis up > Spam Scratch

If somehow your Aldrusian Sproutling died too early
-> Bring any elemental pet and finish with whatever / survive enemy undead passive

Good idea! I used Core Hound Pup (1-1-2) and Jade Tentacle (1-1-1)

Didn't have enough of these pets to work with so I improvised. I used Fel Flame (2,2,1); Molten Corgi (2,2,1) and Pandaren Fire Spirit (1,2,2). Worked on my first try.

Devious05 wrote on 2018-12-24 06:47:09

Decided I wasn't in the mood for slow so used Fel Flame and Fire Spirit, Put in Blossoming Ancient as backup and he didn't have to do much at end to finish.
