I didn't have the 3rd pet. After some trial and error I used Thornclaw Broodling 1,1,1. Keep drain and burrow on CD. Took about 3 tries but nailed it. First two pets on this strat are great!

Two tries and finally got this one down. My Zan was PS, and yes, Mishief did not quite finish Spindler off... close, and thankfully the 2nd time Lost Netherpup got a lucky crit to finish off Rocko. This was the closest strategy that worked for me, so appreciate it. Have to agree though, it does seem RNG/ applicable.

Tried it with first pet as P/S breed and never came close to what is written above, spindler cilled the kitty and from there on all went downhill.
Finally I changed the first pet from P/S breed to P/P breed and managed to solo the first enemy with it, kitty and the Spindler died at the same time and the puppy could survive in ithe end with 23 HP. Close call - you're absolutely right there.

Worked 4th try. Seems RNG on whether or not Mischief manages to take out Spindler, if Lost Netherpup comes in with Spindler still up at any HP at all restart the fight (unless your pup is faster).

Worked first try for me with a P/S breed Anklerender, if only barely! Like another commenter, my Netherpup had 20 health and some change left on that last turn.

Not a reliable strat. P/P Anklerender struggles to get both rounds of Hunting Party off. After several tries, was able to make that happen, and Mischief and Spindler died on the same round, but Netherpup was unable to kill Rocko... Maybe I just have the wrong breeds... Appreciate the effort though, obviously it works for some. (edited)

This worked but I didn't win till after 6 tries. If either of your first two pets die before the third enemy pet comes out, you have to restart the fight.
