Breed
At least one of the pets for this strategy require the use of a specific breed.
Not every strategy can be bullet proof. This is one of them. You might have to restart it, since there are some random elements that increase the risk of your pets failing. Don't blame them, please!
This strategy is using pets obtainable from the Wow Trading Card Game (TCG) or the auction house for potentially high sums of gold.
This strategy is using pets obtainable only from the WoW In-Game Shop for Battle.net Balance or real money.
Level 1+
You can use this strategy to carry a low level pet to give it experience.
Some instructions are more difficult to follow than others. That's exactly what you might find in this strategy!
The strategy offers a Script that can be used with the Pet Battle Script addon. You can copy the script by clicking on the button to the left of the pets.
At least one pet in the strategy cannot be obtained anymore. If you have it, congrats!

It's still quite quick :) and at least your strats are still works :p I couldn't get mine to work :(

i didnt have any pp breed geodes so i had to go out and run around and find 3 pp specifically, which requires resetting the fight several times until they dont have either of the abilities that kill themselves during the fight. finding and getting 3 took about 30 minutes. this strat is only 5 seconds faster than the prior top strat. so 30 minutes is 1800 seconds. divided by 5 seconds faster per fight. it will take about 360 fights until i start seeing a time gain benefit. at about 1.25 minutes per fight, that works out to about 7 and a half hours of doing this specific battle before i start seeing a benefit over the prior strat. idk if i will ever do this fight that much, especially considering there are other faster/better ones. especially since it is heavy on bandage use. im glad i did this for testing purposes more than anything. ty for sharing.

I know I don't have 7 hours in using this strat on this fight. I know I have at least that trying 100s of strats with Bodhi. I am glad to have a PP breed Crimson Geode and happier yet doing this strat. As a collector and battler, going for the top breeds is a foregone conclusion. If not collecting the various breeds, getting the specific breed for this strat is worth it for the beauty of this strategy. This one always makes me happy. It sounds like you have no regrets as well. Thank you as well for sharing.

I haven't been back to Bodhi in ... ages.

And I noticed this strat. When I see a nogulpfrog strat, I expect a clockwork perfection, and this lived up to my expectations!

Wonderful, wonderful strat.

Weird that this strat does not have more likes. IMO, this is currently the best and fastest strategy with 1:15 to 1:20. Probably low-rated because it doesn't have a script attached. (I was using the script by @WhyDaRumGone from 7/19/2022, which works perfectly fine.)

(With the currently top-liked and stuff-picked strategy, which is labeled with "1:20", I was unable to get anything faster than 1:35, usually even longer, so this strat is ~ 20s faster (at least for me).) (edited)

There are too many strategies on Xufu, and Bodi is not a popular trainer. Although it will be recommended on the homepage when it is first published, once it is missed, no one will read it again.

I used to recommend myself in discord when I published the strategy, but I didn't do so when I published the strategy. I wanted to test how long I would receive the first comment. As you can see, I waited for three months and didn't receive a comment.

(OP) nogulpfrog

wrote on 2022-10-10 18:33:43

This strategy is flawed. It requires a pp Crimson geode. Maybe not everyone has three pp.

Mot

wrote on 2022-10-13 00:44:47

It's nothing unusual that a strat needs a specific breed, I wouldn't call it "flawed" because of that. And with the unlimited pet space we have now, there is no excuse not to fill all 3 pet slots with different breeds ;)

If I were you, I would attach a script. As said, for me the script by @WhyDaRumGone worked fine. But verify yourself.

Although virtually every strat has a working script somewhere posted in the comments, I think for the "TD Script" tag you need to have it attached to the strat.
And without the "TD Script" tag in the strat overview list, probably many people will not even look at the strat.

WhyDaRumGone

wrote on 2022-10-16 16:10:10

I agree that this is a great strat :) As soon as I get the TMD I'll be using it!

I'm guessing that where the "flawed" breed comes in isn't to do with requiring a specific breed, or whether it's a less popular breed (not sure on this one) BUT the fact that Crimson Geode has 4 types, so likely people have 3 different breeds. So that means you can only run it once per revive/bandage.
The other strat mentioned the pets are unique breed so you could theoretically "make 3 teams" and use less banages.

Mot

wrote on 2022-10-16 16:56:38

Valid point. Though I actually like strats that eat away from my evergrowing stockpile of currently 6671 Pet Bandages :-) (edited)

Excited to try this out, if I didn't have a P/P breed Crimson Geode, I would go hunt one out it looks that good. Nothing about it this strat looks flawed. When it comes to leveling quickly and efficiently, a breed requirement is far from unusual.

thanks, good strat, quick and easy.
My first script ever...took me an embarrassing amount of time to make this:

standby [round=2]
change(next) [ self.dead ]
ability(#2) [ round=1 ]
ability(#3) [ round=3 ]
ability(#2) [ round=4 ]
ability(#1) [ round=5 ]
ability(#2) [ round=6]
ability(#3) [ round=7 ]
ability(#2) [ round=8]
ability(#3) [ round=9 ]

there are probably better ways to make it but it works (so far)
