High XP
At least one of the pets for this strategy require the use of a specific breed.
RNG
Not every strategy can be bullet proof. This is one of them. You might have to restart it, since there are some random elements that increase the risk of your pets failing. Don't blame them, please!
This strategy is using pets obtainable from the Wow Trading Card Game (TCG) or the auction house for potentially high sums of gold.
This strategy is using pets obtainable only from the WoW In-Game Shop for Battle.net Balance or real money.
You can use this strategy to carry a low level pet to give it experience.
Some instructions are more difficult to follow than others. That's exactly what you might find in this strategy!
Script
The strategy offers a Script that can be used with the Pet Battle Script addon. You can copy the script by clicking on the button to the left of the pets.
At least one pet in the strategy cannot be obtained anymore. If you have it, congrats!

If someone still needs this I struggled today, but managed this by swapping the third pet to Shadowback Crawler H/S 1-1-2.

The constraint still is that first pet has to survive until Sir Murkeston comes back and uses its cooldown on it.

Final cut:
1) Mud Jumper B/B 1-1-1
2) Spirebound Crab P/P 2-1-2
3) Shadowback Crawler H/S 1-1-2

After failing with given strat repeatedly, swapped turns 1 & 2 (so mudslide first) and was able to do second mudslide and win on first try (edited)

Worked for me, though might take a few tries before the crab survives murkleston

Definitely not the most elegant script. However it's functional:

if [ self(#1).active ]
ability(Water Jet:118) [ self.round = 1 ]
ability(Mudslide:572)
ability(Bubble:934)
ability(Water Jet:118)
endif

ability(Whirlpool:513) [ self.round = 1 ]
ability(Surge:509)
endif
change(#3)
ability(Pump:297) [ self.round = 1 ]
ability(Water Jet:118) [ self.round = 2 ]
ability(Cleansing Rain:230) [ self.round = 3 ]
ability(Pump:297) [ self.round = 4 ]

Seems like the RNG is intentionally, miserably, rigged on this fight toward aquatic teams. Enemy team crits often. If this isn't the last tamer you need for achieve, I wouldn't even bother with this fight.

Rabbitzan wrote on 2019-11-11 19:42:59

I got it to work. But I needed my p/s eternal strider to do it fishy wasn't working.

Mystborn

wrote on 2019-10-14 01:54:39

I've tried this strat well over a dozen times and it fails every time. Either Mud Jumper dies before the 2nd mudslide, or Mirror Strider dies to the murloc's fall.
Mud Jumper is H/B, Emperor Crab is P/P, and Mirror strider is H/B. All blue.

Edit: finally made it to the strider and he dies to Greatest Foe. About to throw my computer out the window.

Edit 2: IT WORKED. I must have had the worst RNG in the world, but eventually it worked. I didn't count but it was at least 20 attempts. Don't give up! (edited)

The skills for the Eternal Strider should be 1-2-2 instead of listed 1-1-2. Also my Mud Jumper did die every time before casting second Mud Slide. Still the first cast lasted long enough to prevent Sir Murkeston from swapping out. I don’t think there is a need to restart the fight as strategy suggests. I managed it on a second try after correcting the strider skills, so the strategy works. Thank you :)

Good Strat, thanks. I used Benax, as I didn't have a decent Mud Jumper Breed. One Change I made: Tideskipper in 3rd. Seemed the obvious choice with his humanoid attacks.

Started out with this strategy, but the crab kept dying to Falling Murloc. To solve this I exchanged the crab for Ghostshell Crab (HS 122) for the Bubble. Further, the Strider didn't quite cut it after a few attempts - so I exchanged that one for Spawn of G'nathus (PB 111) and finally managed this horrid fight.

Pets I used; Benax (PH 111), Ghostshell Crab (HS 122) and Spawn of G'nathus (PB 111)

Since it's a fair bit of RNG whether or not Benax will survive killing Coach, I created a script for the fight (Note; it quits the fight either if Benax is dead and Coach is still up, or if the Crab is dead and Sir Murkeston is still up):

quit [self(#2).dead & !enemy(#1).dead]
quit [self(#1).dead & !enemy(#2).dead]

if [self(#1).active]
standby [enemy(#1).active & enemy(#2).dead]
use(Bubble:934) [self.round = 3]
use(Mudslide:572) [self.round >= 2]
use(Water Jet:118)
endif

if [self(#2).active]
if [enemy(#3).active & !enemy(#1).dead]
change(#3) [enemy.aura(Whirlpool:512).exists]
endif
use(Bubble:934) [self.round >= 4]
use(Whirlpool:513) [self.round >= 2]
use(Spirit Claws:974)
endif

if [self(#3).active]
use(Thunderbolt:779)
use(Dive:564)
use(Swallow You Whole:276)
endif

change(next)

Further note; This might require quite a few attempts, so I'm sorry if it doesn't work first try.

This worked first try thank you very much :) I much prefer scripts

Was really close, Mirror Strider finished with 43hp. Took two attempts. Thank you!

Worked fine for me, first try

my emperor crab is never able to finish off Sir Murkeston (4/4 tries so far), i have a H/H breed, a P/P breed is probably needed

switched the crab for a H/P Fishy, worked perfectly. So i guess the fight is impossible with an H/H breed Crab

I must have had the right RNG or breeds, first timed it. Pet 1 B/B Pet 2 P/P Pet 3 B/B

Anonymous wrote on 2017-10-15 02:43:49

Didn't work for me, twice in a row, with a B/B breed Mud Jumper.

Mergas wrote on 2017-10-06 02:13:55

Worked perfectly the first time through. Thanks!

Katey wrote on 2016-12-08 08:41:25

I couldn't do it within reasonable time using the above tactics, so came up with my own setup which allowed me to one-shot it with margin to spare: Emerald Turtle (1,1,1), Young Mutant Warturtle (2,2,2), Chuck (2,1,1). Each has a strong attack against their opponent, which helps a lot.

Timain wrote on 2016-12-08 10:55:47

It took me quite a few tries with this setup as well, but it worked in the end. Thank you! :)

Actiniaria wrote on 2017-01-21 23:41:50

I used this set up too, and was struggling til I read your suggestion to use 111 for the emerald turtle. It worked quite well if I started with the turtle, then headbutt, emerald bite, then shell shield during the lift off. After that just following on naturally worked quite well. I had been starting with the wrong pet and not using headbutt.

Greef wrote on 2017-03-04 13:20:51

Great suggestion. I was missing Ghostshell Crab at max level so I couldn't try option 1, then found this strategy deep in the comments. Worked on 2nd attempt with me trying to find the optimal spell rotation. Should be added

Meg wrote on 2017-03-04 10:32:11

I switched out Mud Jumper for Benax (1-1-1) and it seemed to work a bit better.

Mercer Skye wrote on 2017-02-16 18:12:07

Only change I made for strat 3, was dropping another whirlpool before Crab died (Almost always hit on the dragon), and another water jet from the strider before unleashing the pump

Pvtdeth wrote on 2016-12-13 23:53:01

I had no problem at all using Emerald Turtle 112, Fen Crab 221, and Chuck 112. 111 might be even better for ET.

Pandyana wrote on 2016-12-13 15:02:18

Must have had luck on my side because it worked perfectly for me the first time. I used a Mud Jumper (H/B), Emperor Crab (P/P), and a Mirror Strider (H/S).

Ant Faulkner wrote on 2016-11-24 11:55:43

This doesn't work at all. I am relaxing having a beer and have tried it 15 times, just to see if it's possible. It's not. Terrible strategy...

It is sadly a really unreliable strategy as the comment on it says. I do recommend using one of the others if you have the pets for it.

Genn wrote on 2016-11-24 13:52:13

Thanks, its worked after 3 restarts, last attemt remain 4% health. Changed to Shore Crab(H/H) and Eternal Strider(P/S).

Sapphreya wrote on 2016-11-09 20:08:14

As I don't have a levelled up Puddle Terror, and after a few attempts with the other strategies, I tried this one and it worked first time. Thanks :)

Fink wrote on 2016-10-25 11:27:48

nice and easy, however swapped Mirror Strider for Eternal Strider (1465/247p/305s) same abilites beacuse i didnt have mirror strider lvled up. I think Aqua Strider may work aswell.
btw, fight is still winable if Coach triple tap hits (peck?) 3 times every time. (357power/211speed crab)

Linc wrote on 2016-11-09 18:58:14

Did the same as Fink, subbed the Eternal Strider in for the Mirror Strider, fight went smoothly. May be RNG with crits and number of attacks, but I got this comp to succeed in one try.

Kif wrote on 2016-11-09 17:33:55

Works well, used magical crawdad and Dancing water skimmer instead, but same strat and worked first time

Anonymous wrote on 2016-11-09 13:30:54

Definitely does not work.

Anonymous wrote on 2016-11-09 12:07:16

No clue how that is supposed to work, the crab doesn't do enough damage to kill Murkeston, nor the strider enough to kill the dragon. Does it have to be a certain breed?
