Substitutes:

Note: You have selected a substitute pet.
The strategy might fail if you use it with this pet instead of the one the strategy creator intended.

The substitute finder looks for these criteria in relation to the original pet:
  • Same family
  • Has the required skills
  • Has the required stats (if specified)
  • Ignores specific breed requirements for the main pet, as breeds can be very different for substitutes

Low XP
At least one of the pets for this strategy require the use of a specific breed.
Not every strategy can be bullet proof. This is one of them. You might have to restart it, since there are some random elements that increase the risk of your pets failing. Don't blame them, please!
This strategy is using pets obtainable from the Wow Trading Card Game (TCG) or the auction house for potentially high sums of gold.
This strategy is using pets obtainable only from the WoW In-Game Shop for Battle.net Balance or real money.
You can use this strategy to carry a low level pet to give it experience.
Some instructions are more difficult to follow than others. That's exactly what you might find in this strategy!
Script
The strategy offers a Script that can be used with the Pet Battle Script addon. You can copy the script by clicking on the button to the left of the pets.
At least one pet in the strategy cannot be obtained anymore. If you have it, congrats!

I admire its purity. A survivor... unclouded by conscience, remorse, or delusions of morality.

Worked great with Direhorn Runt (1, 2,2), Albino River Calf (1,1,2), had Summit Kid as back up just in case but did not need it.
Trihorn Charge, Primal Roar, Stampede. Runt dies
Bite, Headbutt end of fight.

Kathleene wrote on 2017-10-23 21:49:34

An Albino River Calf (Bite, Headbutt) and an Adder (Burrow, Hiss, Bite) took him down nicely.

Zandalari Anklerender solo'd this fight by simply using Black Claw and Hunting Party :) I had Zandalari Kneebiter just in case.

Vij wrote on 2017-08-31 09:59:22

Wow, what a BEAST! Worked perfect!

Carol wrote on 2017-09-01 20:01:17

Wow that took 1 Black claw and 1 hunting party then he died, amazing.

Tormentia-Kul Tiras wrote on 2017-09-05 12:41:34

Definitely a one pet strategy this way. I think this should be the preferred strategy.

Nerocorsair wrote on 2017-09-06 05:06:59

I put a level pet in first slot. Turn 1 swap to anklerender, turn 2 black claw, turn 3-5 hunting party. WIN. Only 290XP (unbuffed). Conclusion: easy 1 pet strategy but too low XP to bother

Anonymous wrote on 2017-09-07 14:46:29

Kneebiter also works one pet. Hillarious

Anonymous wrote on 2017-09-13 12:41:08

easiest fight out here!

Dubhglas wrote on 2017-09-21 15:04:18

This.

Tovia wrote on 2017-09-30 00:51:35

Worked easily for me too, Black Claw, Hunting Party, had to do one extra Leap. Thanks!

Anonymous wrote on 2017-10-06 09:15:31

This IS the tactic to use. Retch will be dead on the third round.

Steve wrote on 2017-10-12 08:25:32

Easy solo

Kauket wrote on 2017-10-11 13:15:22

My Summit Kid was only a green level 21, and this strat still worked like a charm!

Kayllisti wrote on 2017-09-17 13:04:12

Spiders are also great in this fight: Poison Spit, Brittle Webbing, Spiderling Swarm

Yewfire wrote on 2017-09-12 06:06:02

Worked first time. Thanks!

Fadaar wrote on 2017-08-30 12:44:05

Another strategy is the tried and true Black Claw + Hunting Party raptors (Zandalari Anklerender and Kneebiter)
