This fight is so damn RNG, it's wrong. That said, this has worked 4 out of 4 times for me as I am putting this up.

Low XP
At least one of the pets for this strategy require the use of a specific breed.
RNG
Not every strategy can be bullet proof. This is one of them. You might have to restart it, since there are some random elements that increase the risk of your pets failing. Don't blame them, please!
This strategy is using pets obtainable from the Wow Trading Card Game (TCG) or the auction house for potentially high sums of gold.
This strategy is using pets obtainable only from the WoW In-Game Shop for Battle.net Balance or real money.
You can use this strategy to carry a low level pet to give it experience.
Some instructions are more difficult to follow than others. That's exactly what you might find in this strategy!
Script
The strategy offers a Script that can be used with the Pet Battle Script addon. You can copy the script by clicking on the button to the left of the pets.
At least one pet in the strategy cannot be obtained anymore. If you have it, congrats!
A Strategy Curator found this strategy to be especially helpful and higlighted it with this tag to give it more exposure.
In Dragonflight Patch 10.2, the ability Time Bomb has been changed. This tag is marking strategies using Time Bomb so they can be reviewed.

This fight is so frustrating... After around 10 attempts, I finally pulled it off using fire and lightning shield for Minitron, and switching my P/B Starlet first attack to Demolish. When my Starlet entered the fight, Faryl's last pet had about 1100 hp left. Used Supercharge > Demolish and thankfully it hit, the enemy pet died. Doing these challenges used to be kinda fun.

Very nice strat, but I used fire shield on turn 1. First enemy pet killed himself almost. Tinytron almost lived to kill the 2nd pet as well.

I used fire shield and lightning shield for the first two turns, then followed strat and finally got it down.

Faryl is the WORST! I've given up on beating him with Elemental, Aquatic, Flying (unless on the off chance I can win with 2 Sentinel's Companions but first I gotta wait for a certain Garrison Inn quest to pop up), and now Elemental too!

DebSS

wrote on 2021-01-25 16:28:46

My Tinytron was level 1, so I used a Rascal-Bot with Phaser and Lens Flare. Worked perfectly.

Canukistani

wrote on 2021-10-31 17:58:34

omg, Rascal-Bot's Lens Flare totally nerfed the first pet

DoctrorSpud wrote on 2021-08-07 13:33:41

I had to use Pocket Cannon for pet 3 to make this work. after 7 fails. :-) (Extra Plating, and Arcane Shot)

Worked on second try for me

Morgiana#1744

I can't get this strat to work either. My Iron Starlette (P/P) has only lived long enough to cast the second Wind Up once out of six tries, and that once it didn't hit for hard enough to kill the final pet. I also tried the strat adding in the Lightning Shield as Aileen recommended and it didn't change the results much for me. I am wondering if this strat requires you to get lucky with both not getting crit yourself AND getting a few crits in on the opposing team to be able to have it work.

Definitely RNG, but I won by the width of my skin. P/P Iron Starlett had like 20hp left at the end. I think the key is to have the damage line up where your last turn available lines up with the third pet's cyclone or heal.

Sylgem

wrote on 2021-02-11 00:36:44

This worked for me although I needed to restart a few times - if you get stunned on the first turn, it's pretty much game over. I also used an H/P Iron Starlette as my PP died before my second windup could go off.

Dorelei wrote on 2021-01-30 19:07:38

It seems like with this strat you want to kill at least one pet each. Whatever you have that will take out the first pet, and second for second pet, leaving the Iron Starlet to take down the third one, will probably work with some tries.

I have an H/H, H/P and P/P starlet, and the P/P starlet took Brite with one extra toxic smoke and about 200hp post failsafe at end. H/H and H/P didn't quite get close enough.

I also used a Pocket Cannon with Extra Plating, then spamming Arcane Shot in the first slot instead of the Tinytron.

Dougula#1873

wrote on 2021-01-30 12:18:48

Didn't have a Tinytron so I improvised, was able to make it work by using a Sunblade Micro-Defender in the 1st slot instead. Interrupting Jolt, Haywire, Armageddon then followed the Runisco's strat as written . Finished w/a Toxic Smoke FTW

Aileen

wrote on 2021-01-01 23:28:00

I didn't have any success with this until I cast Lightning Shield on the first round.

Hamz

wrote on 2021-01-09 18:52:55

Same thing worked for me. Don't know if it was just luck, but this way I managed to get in a supercharged Laser against Brite.

PureFaith#1442

Took your advice and started off with the lightning shield on round 1 and won on the first try!

chaddyg88#1780

wrote on 2021-01-18 19:36:08

I prefered to use Fire Shield for the extra round of enemy damage. But this fight is WAY too RNG between crits, stuns and the cyclone.

You might want to make it more clear than on enemy 1 you have to keep using Arcane Blast until he dies...

This is a total failure, 6 out of 6 fails.
the strat is not bad, this is just really heavy RNG like all the strats for Faryl. He is way overpowered. Please skip him for Family Exorcist. There are other tamers easier to fulfill the achievement. (edited)
