Low XP
Breed
At least one of the pets for this strategy require the use of a specific breed.
Not every strategy can be bullet proof. This is one of them. You might have to restart it, since there are some random elements that increase the risk of your pets failing. Don't blame them, please!
This strategy is using pets obtainable from the Wow Trading Card Game (TCG) or the auction house for potentially high sums of gold.
This strategy is using pets obtainable only from the WoW In-Game Shop for Battle.net Balance or real money.
You can use this strategy to carry a low level pet to give it experience.
Some instructions are more difficult to follow than others. That's exactly what you might find in this strategy!
Script
The strategy offers a Script that can be used with the Pet Battle Script addon. You can copy the script by clicking on the button to the left of the pets.
At least one pet in the strategy cannot be obtained anymore. If you have it, congrats!

Used pets of the breeds listed (as per updated strategy), won on first try. Didn't even need to use Ooze Touch once with my Whelk!

wrote on 2022-07-15 20:22:42

Used a HS Rat, HB Little Fawn and HH Scooter. Worked 2nd try.

Thank you for this strategy.

Initially I messed this up using a wrong breed Fawn I had.

I ended up winning using a SS Rat, PP Gleamhoof Fawn, and HB Rapana Whelk. I do not know why, but the TD Script stopped progressing during the 2nd pet and I had to manually proceed.

TD Script:

change(next) [self.dead]
use(Poison Fang:152) [!enemy.aura(Poisoned:379).exists]
use(Headbutt:376)
use(Stampede:163) [!enemy.aura(Shattered Defenses:542).exists]
use(Ooze Touch:445)

I don't think Stampede needs the special condition afterward; it prevented my fawn from using Stampede in later rounds. (edited)

If you don't have a recent rat leveled like I didn't you can replace the first slot with a snail and use Acidic Goo and Headbutt then contiuing with the strat.

Essere wrote on 2021-01-12 11:26:59

Followed the advice of Euroblood and tried to use pets that had P in the breed. It worked way better. Thanks for posting this.

Rishingo

wrote on 2021-05-05 13:30:01

Confirmed all Breeds including P in some form easily completed this.

Replacing the first pet with an S or SS variant will help alot, replacing the second pet with a P variant will help, and replacing the last pet with an S variant will help. The default selections i lost like 8 times in a row. When I changed the pets based on what I said in the first sentance, I instantly won repeatedly. My own choices were Black Rat, Rescued Fawn, and Silkbead Snail to replace the 1st through 3rd slots, respectivly.

Euroblood

wrote on 2020-10-23 18:36:04

This worked for me in 9.0. The trick is your last two pets must all be half P breed or you lack about 150 damage.

Sokra#2571

wrote on 2020-10-25 11:31:20

Thank you for your comment this did the trick - I used PP Giant Sewer Rat (breed doesn't really matter in the first slot), PP Gleamhoof Fawn and HP Shimmershell Snail

Eltana#1538

wrote on 2020-11-20 07:46:35

I was able to get it to work with a PP Gleamhoof Fawn and a BB Shimmershell Snail.

Orgulas

Saido

wrote on 2021-03-17 19:33:42

Excellent advice, thank you -- after three draws I read your comment and swapped in a H/P Rescued Fawn and a H/P Mudshell Conch, and finished with my snail on half health.

Meows#2580

wrote on 2021-03-04 19:08:27

Nothing of this really worked for me in SL, and didnt have any of the shop pets, but what did was

Rusty Snail (H/B) - 1 1 2
Rapana Whelk (B/B) - 1 1 2
Shimmershell Snail (H/P) - 1 1 2

Acidic goo -> as many headbutts as possible after that, filling with ooze touch.

Wolfbrother

wrote on 2020-10-22 16:23:41

This didn't work SL prepatch. Used Aeliel's tactic with the Darkmoon Rabbit, and a pygmy cow. My rabbit was B/B not S/S and still won.

anatidae

Maritan

Littlehoof also works in Slot #2... worked perfectly first time.

Nellq wrote on 2019-01-01 17:35:07

I got desperate with what I had levelled and just went for three things with Headbutt. Ended up succeeding with Rapana Whelk (opened with Acidic Goo), Gazelle Fawn, and Mr. Wiggles.

S/S Mountain Cottontail 2/2/2, H/H Blind Rat 1/1/2, Rapana Whelk 1/2/2 (didn't need it).

* Flurry (skip this if Gnasher is faster than your cottontail)
* Dodge
* Stampede until your cottontail is down.
- Bring in Blind Rat
* Call Darkness
* Sneak Attack
* Sneak Attack (Gnasher died here... my Blind Rat is H/H though...)
- If needed, bring in your snail, Headbutt and then Ooze Tough as suggested by strat above

bulgard wrote on 2018-07-22 03:03:45

Grotto Vole (sting, stampede) then Darkmoon Hatchling (Trample, Flock) and finish with a snails headbutt.

Tylandon wrote on 2017-08-29 22:53:43

If you replace the rat with a squirrel of some sort with woodchipper as the first attack over poison fang, and then continue as normal; the fight will end quicker.

Eekwibble wrote on 2017-09-07 11:17:18

If you use Crispin 2-1-1, then the Rat /-1-1, you can put up so many DoTs that the 3rd pet just has to tickle him to death.

Adrenaline Rush > Nut Barrage > Woodchipper > Crispin dies
Sting > Stampede > Rat dies
3rd pet can pass or use any attack, doesn't matter, Gnasher will die from DoTs.

Starryice

wrote on 2017-12-23 14:38:21

Crysladiel wrote on 2018-06-04 16:23:03

Worked perfectly! My rat was 22! And I used [Headbutt] to finish!

Woody wrote on 2018-05-22 04:35:27

change(next)

I used a pygmy cow (1,2,2) instead of the fawn. Rotation went like this:
Rat, Poison Fang, Stampede. Rat died. Bring in the cow. Udder Destruction, Feed. Win.

Used fast cockroaches – 1 1 1 with speed greater than 289 Hiss, then swarm repeat basic strategy by LirameiRav.

Kayllisti wrote on 2017-09-15 01:03:28

Thanks for the tip with the roaches! I only had one fast one, but started the fight using it, his + swarm. Second, I brought out Silkbead Snail for Headbutt + Acidic Goo. Third, Masked Tanuki Pup for Powerball + Bite. Good luck!

Aeliel wrote on 2017-09-14 08:59:13

S/S Darkmoon Rabbit 2/2/2, H/B Rapana Whelk 1/1/2, S/S Grasslands Cottontail 1/2/2

Dodge, Huge Sharp Teeth!, Stampede (your Darkmoon Rabbit dies)
Headbutt, Ooze Touch

Turned out to not need the third pet.

I'm aware not everyone has a S/S Darkmoon Rabbit, but it's an option.

Boraxius wrote on 2017-08-31 02:19:40
