Has RNG, sorry. That first enemy is unpredictable.

Low XP
At least one of the pets for this strategy require the use of a specific breed.
RNG
Not every strategy can be bullet proof. This is one of them. You might have to restart it, since there are some random elements that increase the risk of your pets failing. Don't blame them, please!
This strategy is using pets obtainable from the Wow Trading Card Game (TCG) or the auction house for potentially high sums of gold.
This strategy is using pets obtainable only from the WoW In-Game Shop for Battle.net Balance or real money.
You can use this strategy to carry a low level pet to give it experience.
Some instructions are more difficult to follow than others. That's exactly what you might find in this strategy!
Script
The strategy offers a Script that can be used with the Pet Battle Script addon. You can copy the script by clicking on the button to the left of the pets.
At least one pet in the strategy cannot be obtained anymore. If you have it, congrats!
A Strategy Curator found this strategy to be especially helpful and higlighted it with this tag to give it more exposure.

Got it on the 5th try, but the script could use some tweaking. If Brite's Brite at hp < 400 a single Arcane Slash will kill it, and the script should target that. Of the 5 attempts 3 of them would have been won with that tweak.
Edit: I had a P/P crab so Arcane Slash did 465 damage. I'm assuming that the other crabs will hit for at least 400, so hp may need adjusting lower. (edited)

This was my experience, too. Once it happened, the strat worked nicely.

This strat worked very well for me on the first attempt.

Xxknight wrote on 2019-11-04 13:17:44

I used Slimy Fangtooth (112), Toothy and moonshell. Phase shirt to miss the first attack, expunge then ooze touch until it died, then followed the strategy as above, easy peasy

This the only one i could get to work...9 try's on the other's drove me nut's. so TY

Michelle wrote on 2019-02-15 22:39:09

Benax (1,2,1) keep swarm of flies up and use the bubble when u think the bird is going to lift off.
Shore Crab (2,1,2) keep up renewing mist and use the whirlpool on cool down, fill with surge.
Moonshell Crab (1,1,1) keep the shell shield up and use the renewing mist on cool down.. fill with arcane slash. I only had the moonshell Crab out of all the other pets listed. I had zero luck with the fen crab or the emperor crab. This took me a while.

I only had a level 21 Moonshell Crab but decided to try it anyways. Worked first try.

Hmmm I would remove the line: "If only Brite is left, you can probably not worry about maintaining defenses and just rush him with Arcane Slash" because that was not true. lol

Won on second attempt when I've used Shell Shield and Renewing Mists despite having only Brite left ;)

Epytropos

wrote on 2019-08-11 11:19:06

This strat appears to rely on the first enemy pet using Fly in round 3, but in 6 of 7 attempts of mine it used it in 2, meaning that it would make sense to put Rush in turn 2 (to hit before he takes off) and Blood in the Water on turn 3. Either way you're at the mercy of RNG, but there's no getting out of that.

Weasei

wrote on 2019-03-19 15:46:00

My Moonshell Crab came in with Brite at around 2/3rds health, without defensives my crab got flattened. Same thing second time but with defensive moves came nowhere near losing!

wrote on 2019-02-21 19:36:47

Finally with Snarly 1,/1/2, toothy 1/1/2 and moonshell crab 1/1/1. FYI Moonshell crab destroys the last pet.

Please note that strategies are sorted depending on your user preferences and their current score. Prefer voting and favoriting the strat you prefer, or linking it.

Mika wrote on 2019-02-04 09:56:48

Oh i hate this fight. Finally got it with Fen Crab (H/H) (1,1,2), Shack Crab (H/H) (1,2,2) and Emerald turtle (1,1,*)

wrote on 2019-01-15 17:03:14

For me, this only worked if nocturnal strike missed. Once it does this start is spot on.

Qyana wrote on 2018-12-29 08:45:54

Substituted Snarly in first spot, as he has a larger health pool and more attack power than Chuck. Maybe I was lucky in not getting a lift-off and 2 quill attacks for starters on the first enemy pet, which let me use the Rip and Blood in the Water combo, followed by Surge. After that all was smooth sailing, Toothy finished of the second pet and Moonshell Crab tore apart Brite, ending the fight with a sound health pool of 1300.

PureArmour wrote on 2018-12-15 21:33:26

i used this method many times, lost very few to the RNG

Shack Crab H/H *[Surge] - [Spiny Carapace] - [Rain Dance]
Hermit Crab S/S *[Pinch] - [Shell Armor] - [Dive]
Moon Shell Crab H/P *[Arcane Slash] - [Shell Shield] - [Renewing Mists]

** i have not tested other breeds

Start with Shack Crab [Spiny Carapace] - [Rain Dance] - [Surge] - [Spiny Carapace] - [Surge] -[Surge] Shack may die here and that's ok but... {if Shack is dead before this restart, if still alive use [Spiny Carapace] and surge till Shack dies} note: sometimes Feathers will die here too, and splat comes in. either way, just continue with the instructions.

Bring in Hermit use [Shell Armor] use [Dive] if feathers flies up. use [Pinch] renew [Shell Armor] when there is 1 round left, use [Dive] on cooldown Feathers and Splat should both be dead here.

Bright comes in.... If Hermit is still alive continue using [Shell Armor] when one round is left and [Dive] when available filling in with pinch.

When Hermit dies bring in Moon Shell Crab. use [Shell Shield] - [Renewing Mists] - Arcane Slash] - Arcane Slash] - [Renewing Mists] - [Shell Shield] - Arcane Slash] till you win.

This worked the first time for me, I used a P/S Moonshell Crab which made it through with a sliver of health near the end. Thanks.

Arji

wrote on 2018-12-22 08:38:21

I used this combo and kept loosing to the last pet, so I switched the Moonshell Crab for an Emerald Turtle as in other Strategies.
The two Crocs take care of the two first pets and the turtle handled the last one using Shell Shield and Emerald Bite just fine!

Kay

wrote on 2018-12-22 00:27:43

First enemy uses Quill then Lift Off on both attempts. I adjust to rip, surge, blood in water. This was easier than I thought considering fighting two Fly pets with aquatics. Thanks!

Ozyorkbourne wrote on 2018-12-21 22:14:38

So I used something slightly different. I found a common pattern for Raven is to fly on turn 1, followed by nocturnal strike. This strat relies on it using fly, not critting with fly and then missing the nocturnal strike.

Chuck: Surge, Rip, Blood, Surge, Surge and Surge. I got lucky not getting multi-hit by feathers but even if Raven survives, it will be weak.

Emerald Turtle with Emerald Bite, Shell Shield and Headbutt meaning it can finish Raven if necessary and smash Splat, or be used on Brite.

Finally, Moonshell crab with 1/1/1 to clean up. This strat will cost bandages but should, my turtle and crab were H/H builds but this should work with most?

Ziv

wrote on 2018-12-16 20:16:13

After about 8 or 9 Nocturnal Strikes hitting, FINALLY got a miss. That's when I knew this strat would work! I was about to give up thinking there was a bug with NS because it hit so often.

Rubyfire

wrote on 2018-12-16 01:17:37

Worked for me! The crocs do die fast and it made me nervous but the crab is a trooper and won with half health (and it started with half health on the third pet lol)

Noel wrote on 2018-12-15 23:11:59

I used two Moonshell Crabs, they were key to kill those nasty fliers.

Dugalla wrote on 2018-12-15 19:33:34

I 2 petted this with a P/S Puddle Terror 1/1/3 and a H/S Juvenile Scuttleback 1/2/2. Some RNG with Noc strike. If it misses you're all good. Dive the lift off keep ward up and fill with jet. Bring in crab for the Critter and swap back to Puddle. I used a Hydraling as 3rd but didnt even need it.

Horuscope wrote on 2018-12-15 13:40:56

Used two crabs with Rip, Shell Shield and Blood in the Water instead of the crocs to make this strat work. Keep Shell Shield active, otherwise Rip or BitW when available. The crocs just died too fast. Moonshell Crab works fine!
